QRTR Track Of The Week #5

Our latest track of the week is by Silver-blonde songstress Nina June & Lywe, nom de plume of Lieuwe Roonder, who also produced the track.

“From the very beginning, it has been clear that this track had to be a duet. It took some time and effort to convince Lieuwe, but thankfully it worked out because he has an amazing voice”, says Nina. 

In 2018, Nina June released her debut album ‘Bon Voyage’, a collection of cinematic pop songs that tell tales of the complex forms of human connections. The Change In Me is the first in a range of new songs by the singer-songwriter, who recently signed to Nettwerk Music (Angus & Julia Stone, The Paper Kites and Passenger).

“This song is a (duet) about a couple that suddenly realises that both of them have changed over the years and that maybe there is more love in setting each other free than to hold on to one another.”
